Mark Wakely is a writer and journalist with a life-long interest in architecture. Since 1997, he has been executive producer of The Comfort Zone on ABC Radio National, a program that has twice been awarded for excellence in architectual journalism by the Royal Australian Institute of Architects. However, no other award matches the pride he derived from winning his hometown Lego championship for a model house he designed at the age of twelve.
